how can i make a reservoir tank?
Posted by duckman on Wednesday, November 30, 2005 1:09 AM

i have the testors blue mini diaphragm comperssor and im using a Paasche double action VL airbrush for along time ive been wanting a compressor with a reservoir tank because of the steady airflow.

so i was wonding if i was to make a air storage tank what would be the best way to do this

i already have the idea of: Compressor_-_short hose_-_Reservoir tank_-_Hose Airbrush= Happy!

im aware that the tank wouldnt have alot of psi in it because the compressors not exactly strong but my friend at the LHS said it would be a good idea!

Your idea is fine you should run with it.  Another option, which many have mentioned before in this forum, is just use extra hose to act the same as a resevoir tank.  Here is a link from Harbor freight.  These things hold a good bit of air.  They have them at lowes or homedepot also I think.  You might need some fittings for the ends too.
