Get a glass cabinet in which the models fit.

Why would anyone be touching your models? you need to tell/explain to them that it's unacceptable!

I've lost a few to my cat and more to my mom. I lost a Tamiya Me 262 to my cat about a month ago. Now I have a new modeling table that won't collapse when the cat jumps on it.

Having friends who model helps as most model builders are reluctant to handle other people's builds. The other option is to have a notice saying "don't touch" and keep an eye out for "itchy fingers".

Once your friends get used to the idea that you don't want the models handled, they'll leave your models alone.

Don't you just hate it when other people handle your models? Something is always bound to happen with me, so I want to know what you guys do to stop that. I have cases but since I mostly build helicopters they don't fit even if the case says it can hold 1/48 scale and the model is 1/48. I just lost my blackhawk to an incident like this, and it was my first pro model, this is the second time it has happend. I need a special place for them. Any of you guys have ideas?
