I've been on dozens of Group Build forums over the years and have posted on many other forums. If I've subscribed to the forum, I have always received the appropriate response. In the case of the Group Builds that means every message. About ten days ago I subscribed to the Commonwealth Group Build and posted a major message with several pics. No problem - the posts are all there. But no responses. At the same time I ceased receiving responses from the 1943 GB which I have been a member of for months. Up until ten days ago, all posts made to the GB had been forwarded.
I checked my "Email Notification" category. It says under "Forums" that I am not subscribed to anything. I should be subscribed to several - the GBs slowly die off after the deadline, but late messages are the norm. I've never signed off any GB - so I should be showing subscriptions to several Group Build Forums. Under "Forum Topics" it shows that I am subscribed to all of the Group Builds I have participated in.
As several other members of the GBs I'm in are having the same trouble, I do think there is something wrong on your end. As it now stands, at least you Group Build Forum is working to the extent that posts made do appear in total. But as no notifications of responses to the posts appear, the Forum is badly crippled. And, to be blunt, I subscribe to Finescale because of the forum. If they cease working, I will drop the magazine and take my modeling matters to Facebook.
Any explanation or advice would be greatly appreciated.
