Hello my name is Robert im from Southern California I join Jan 26, 09

ive been doing military models off an on for about 15 years im still green at the hobbie

i still cant seem to get rid of aircrat molding lines without getting rid of detail, or making it even. any help or advice would be greatful or "how toos"

SOmetimes, remiving the seams means removing the detail as well. Unfortunately, that means more work replacing the lost detail or deciding that it's not really noticable. HTH! Thumbs Up [tup]

Welcome to the Forums Robert . Losing some detail when cleaning seams is inevitable on most kits. Getting a good scribing tool & learning how to rescribe the lost detail is about the only solution.

If you're ever down in the Orange Couty area, you're more than welcome to attend the local IPMS chapter meetings. The third Friday night of every month. WE have some real "ace" modelers there who are more than happy to help a fellow builder improve. I know they have with me since I joined.
