If you're ever down in the Orange Couty area, you're more than welcome to attend the local IPMS chapter meetings. The third Friday night of every month. WE have some real "ace" modelers there who are more than happy to help a fellow builder improve. I know they have with me since I joined.

Welcome to the Forums Robert Sign - Welcome [#welcome].  Losing some detail when cleaning seams is inevitable on most kits.  Getting a good scribing tool & learning how to rescribe the lost detail is about the only solution.

SOmetimes, remiving the seams means removing the detail as well.  Unfortunately, that means more work replacing the lost detail or deciding that it's not really noticable.  HTH! Thumbs Up [tup]

Sign - Welcome [#welcome] to the forums, Archangel554!!! I can't help you with your question, since I'm more of an armor builder, but I'm sure you'll find the answers here in the forums.Smile [:)]
