Greetings from Colorado!

Hello fellow modelers!  I've been building models of all types and all subjects, for over 50 years now, starting with the Revell Highway Pioneers autos, and Strombecker solid wood airplane models, way back when.  Now that I am retired, I have plenty of time to devote to my hobby, and have found it's a good way to keep mental and motor skills sharp.  Anyhow, it keeps me off the streets! Wink [;)]

I'm most interested in WWII aircraft and sci-fi subjects now, and looking forward to visiting this forum frequently.

Hi, Summit-

I moved to Longmont, CO two years ago- from Atlanta, GA; and I must say Colorado is a much nicer place to be!  I'm originally a native of Wisconsin.

Now I need to figure out how to post images here- Are there any instructions on line, or can you give me a quick instruction?

Thanks for the help!  Here's a test- a resin model I built- Emporer Ming's rocket ship, from the 1930's Flash Gordon serials.

But only half of the picture came through.  Wonder why?

Hi Chuck,

I'm not computer saavy, but I think I know what you mean.  Whenever I link a picture to a post, the first time I lok at it, it shows a smaller, but complete sersion of the photo, and if I hover my cursor over it, I can click for a larger version of the same thing.

Here's where it gets strange, when I later go back and look at the picture, it is the larger picture, but chopped by the smaller dimensions, so it looks like only part of the picture is posted, but if you click on it, you can still access the whole picture.

Hope this helps,

Bill

PS, that's a cool rendering of Ming's ride!

Hi, Bill-

I just re-open the thread tonight, and now I see that my complete picture appears, and I didn't do anything to make that happen!  Weird- but as long as it fixed itself, I'm happy!

Well, I just rebooted and now it's back to just half a picture again and I didn't do anything to make a change.  Computers- go figure!

Chuck, that happens time to time. When you click on the "half-picture," it will show up enlarged and complete.
