Is it appropriate to mention that my work is posted at planedave.net?

Maybe I should add I'm a 1/48th guy.  I do all WWII, mostly aircraft, some armor and vehicles.

That's ok, there room for all scale here, even the odd 48th kit Whistling

I am a Norfolk man and i glory in being so

Given the number of unbuilt kits I have, its probably just as well that I wait.

Yeah, good luck on that wait. I think there are around 4 or 5 Japanese armor subjects you can get.

Building a kit from your stash is like cutting a head off a Hydra, two more take it's place.

I've been a reader of FSM for years. So I guess its time I plugged in to the community!

I'm a lifelong aviation and history nerd, and been building models on and off for 40 years.  Right now it's mostly on!  I've been an Air Traffic Controller for almost 30 years, and now, as I'm approaching retirement I hope I'll be able to make some real progress on my unbuilt model stash.

When I look at the quality of builds around here I know I'm still pretty crude in my efforts.  But I enjoy the hobby, and I love history.
