Greetings to Fine Scale Modeler members and moderators.

This is my first post, which, I believe, is to allow the moderators to confirm that I am a real person, or at least one heck of an AI, and that I understand the concept of being polite and refraining from using language inappropriate for this forum.

I believe the moderators will accept this as a first post, so I will conclude it with: "Hello Everyone".

Hello OneThousandArms, welcome to the forum, and yes, you and I are both real people.

What subjects/scale do you enjoy?

Welcome 1000arms!  Your post has really got me thinking here.  I wonder what it's like on a philosophy forum.  In order to join, do you have to prove that you're "real"?

Hello everyone,

I appreciate the questions and comments.  I have not been modeling much recently.  I have a particular interest in scratchbuilt diorama modeling, although I like seeing well done work in (almost?) every field.  I think the resurgence of paper modeling could be quite interesting with the fine printing and range of papers available today, as well as the use of 3D-printed parts now being a possibility.  The use of etched brass or etched stainless steel parts is also of use and interest to me.

Eric, I would have used 1000arms as my screen name, but the forum servers insisted i start my username with letter.  I think signing my posts with "100arms" will work quite well.
