Hi All,
I'm the typical on again off again modeler and after everything I've learned from FSM the magazine and this forum I figured I would jump in.
Although I spent 20 years in the USAF, my favorite subject continues to be WWII and Cold War armor going back to my first Sherman many decades ago (complete with tube glue streamers, sprue and ejector marks, flash and mold seams, and no paint...why would I paint it when the tank is already green and the tracks are black?). I'm also a fan of WWI aircraft, but so far I've been dodging the rigging. I hope to change that soon. I build things pretty much straight from the box and just try to build the best model I can from the kit and learn a lot along the way.
I just finished Trumpeter's 1:35 BRDM-2UM and I'm in the early stages of Dragon's Black Label MBT-70 and I might put up a work in progress post since I haven't seen that kit on this forum yet. Putting up my progress might give me a little more motivation to do this kit justice.
Thanks
