Don Hammerini?!  I kiss your ring!  It's good to have you back.  We've got another Monogram Mafia group build in swing as we speak.

I hope everything's been well for you, and if it hasn't, I hope things are better now.

Great to have you back in the forum!

Thanks again all, for the warm welcome back... As gor appearing in this uniform, rather than the familiar "Enemy Ace" togs, well... For the life of me, I couldn't remember the.old password, nor could I access The email account under it, since the great Centurylink switchover here...

Working with Tim to get my old uniform back...

Can't post as much as I used to right now, nothing but a phone to use, but I'll get that taken care of soon too...

Until then, I'll be mostly.lurking... Mostly...

Prosbt!

Welcome back from a newbie who you don't know, but who has heard your name mentioned as being missed many times over the past couple of years.

Thanks guys... No, didn't follow Manny's kamikaze attack or whatever it was, in fact... Not even sure what happened there, think I had heard some rumblings of it, but then that could've just been some from his semi-regular tour to the stockade.... Mine a combo of rather serious medical crap, and having to locate, buy, move, set up, and move into a new mobile home, with the latter being the more aggravating (and expensive)....

At any rate... It's good to be back, and I'll try to follow-up on some of the things I left undone, or at least give some of them a proper burial. I'm still w/o a PC, just have a phone... So while I read the forums, I don't have much to say yet, simply because my phone's a PITA to type on...

Right now, I'm still in rebuild phase of the Hammer-cave. Due to circumstances in the real world, I lost just about everything I'd collected in the way of spare parts, figures parts, paints, brushes, tools, bench, lights, well... The list is long... Worst part-loss was my collection of resin P & W T-2800 radials... Had twenty of those babies poured...

Most heart-breaking was the NOT loss of my figure and engine-molds for resin extras... It was my gen-u-wine 1960s Mattel Vac-U-Form! I managed to buy TWO more though... Second one arrived yesterday!

The GOOD news is I didn't lose my kit stash! In fact, I added to it by about fifty-sixty kits.. Mostly the 1/32 Revell birds, but a goodly number of soft-skinned military vehicles, to go with the artillery I have... (got a towed howitzer, ya gonna need the Prime Mover!)

Now I have to buy two or three Tamiya Gamma-Goats though...( They were the prime-movers for our M102s back in my 82nd days) Noticed their release in latest issue of FSM... Still, gotta get a couple CUCVs too...

Well, tortured m'self enough on this damned phone keyboard...

See y'all in the build-forums!

Rock Fury

P.S. I fully intend to return to my Gizmology 101/201 "courses"... During my hiatus, I found some really cool and (key point) cheap, readily available stuff for aircraft cockpits and tank turret-interiors!

Good to see you back, maybe its a sign to start on that Rommel's Rod kit the missus bought for fathers day last year. A Monogram kit with a resurrected dead ;)

Welcome back, HvH! I'll be looking forward to seeing more of your work. Folks were wondering where you went. All kinds of theories abounded... a flood destroyed your stash, or you were a victim of the Manny purge! Beer

Welcome back Sarge, it'll be hard not to call you Hans.  I've been essentially AWOL myself for the past two years.  All the blood letting on the forum back in '13 and some major home renovations seemed to redirect my priorities.  I've continued to lurk a little bit, but I've not been active.  I hope to reconnect .  This was always a good place to go.  There are a lot of friends here.
