Like some of the others I haven't built a model in a very long time. I just started again and I too am amazed at the detail and craftsmanship many of the modelers show.  I have two electric RC planes and an electric RC crawler. Things I couldn’t afford as a kid (much of which weren’t even available) and was too busy working and raising a family later on in life.  I am retired now, don’t like most TV and was looking for something to do at night. I always enjoyed the models building so I bought a beginners model to see what I could do. I bought a Revell   U.S.S. Constitution in the 1/196 scale, pretty small but I thought it would get me started. I’m still working on it with bright light and tweezers.Big Smile  I'm looking forward to gaining more knowledge of building models on the forum.
