My mother-in-law lives in Moore off 19th. I live in Seminole. I'm actually just getting started modeling myself.

Hey Mark, welcome back to scale modeling and welcome to this forum. Its great to have another former modeler come back to modeling.

Have fun here and there is plenty of help if you need it.

Welcome to the forums Mark. You can be as good as the work on here. I was surprised how fast I improved.

Building a kit from your stash is like cutting a head off a Hydra, two more take it's place.

I'm Mark Lookabaugh, and I've recently gotten back into modeling after a break of about 30 years.

I love building ships, and other military subjects, and spent a tour in the US Navy as a sonar tech on the USS Brewton (FF-1086) in Pearl Harbor, HI.

My main subject (models, books, games, and everything else) is Science Fiction.  I'm a die hard fan of Star Wars, Star Trek, Battlestar Galactica, Space 1999, 2001, Logan's Run, as well as modern stuff, and everything in between.

I've been writing computer software for 20 years.  After a day of looking over tiny details in code, I come come and look at tiny details in models... hahaha.  Must be a personality flaw.  ;-)

Thanks for all the great stuff you post.  The quality of work on this site blows me away.  I'll never be that good, but it sure is fun to look at the world-class art being produced here.

All the best,

Mark
