Hi :

Now here's an absolutely good reason why these things shouldn't be allowed on the street ! Think of the insurance claims filed on just this kind of shenagigan ! My custom 57 Ford could cross bad tracks at a crossing if it had to  .

Gosh , if you're going to drive it , keep it everyday driveable . Or use hydraulics after you get there !Sure , some look Beautimus , but keep them high till you get parked !

Hahahaha!  Justice!  I cant stand the fact that the 17-year olds get a hold of nice sporty cars (Supra, Rx7, 240sx, etc) and ruin them.  Absolutely ruin them!!!   These car are so hard to find in good shape.  99% are destroyed.

When I get a chance, I gotta find that email I had some time ago about clown cars. Funny as heck.

These idiots don't seem to realize that low race cars are built that way because there's no real elevation changes on race tracks and because of the need to use downforce at high speeds or traction. This is just a fundamental misunderstanding of racing and aerodynamics vs aesthetics.

There is a good reason I drive an SUV. Not a big one but I often think that I could easily roll over some of these super low cars and not even notice it Big Smile. Oh, I didn't know there was a new speed bump here. And what is that wrecked car there??? Big Smile

BlackSheep, back a few years ago when I still had a Hot Rod,,,,,,I got to talking to an owner of one of those low cars. His was a tiny pickup, realllll low, with the 18" or larger wheels and the extremely low aspect tires.

I asked him if driving on the interstate to Nashville bothered that car any. His reply was that he could only drive it up and down the main highway in Lebanon,,,,,,,never "all the way to Nashville",,,,,,about a half hour trip.

I just shook my head, walking away from a car that couldn't be taken anywhere. Even my gnarliest, knotiest drag car back in the day could have at least gone after a sack of groceries if it really needed to.

As easy as those bumpers came off, they should have been carried in a rack to the car show or event they were going to. Sort of like some wide tire show cars did back in the day.

I couldn't tell which was lower:  The bumpers or the shorts and pants on some of those guys.

It's always surprising who can get a driver's license.

Hey buddy - you look pretty stupid and embarrassed your girlfriend trying to get over that 2 inch curb. Next time try using Gorilla glue or put on normal suspensions on the car. LOL!
