I noticed that gear door hanging down. I don't know what the speed would need to be to tear it off, but it sure looked like an accident waiting to happen.

Y'all, thanks for sharing the pictures and the video. Another P-47 in the air is just terrific! In the video, did you notice the Corsair had a right gear door hanging open? I hope Dottie Mae gets to Sun n Fun in April '18.

So good to see another Thunderbolt back in the air, especially since we lost Jacky's Revenge last year. I've heard that while they fished her out intact, she may have sat to long in the salt water to be made flyable again. Doubly tragic with loss of the pilot who set her down so carefully.
Bish, I should make a recommendation to the pilot.

Wow, thanks so much for posting such beautiful pics of Dottie Mae! I've just started working on Eduard's 1/32 kit of this plane, so your pics are a great reference since I plan on finishing it in it's current state, looking pristine and fresh out of restoration.

I was reading up on Hell-er Bust, being sold to Sweden, then the Dominican Republic,m then back to the US and finally back in her old colours.
As part of my Norfolk Airfileds build i have a P-51 for each of the 3 Bodney Sq's, including Hell-er bust of course. Part of the old base is still in use by the army and i have been there a few times, still got the old buildings from Ww2. Would love to see Hell-er Bust make a visit back to Norfolk, that would be a site.

Bish, Hell-er Bust is based out of Boise so we get the privilege to see it often.
There were also 2 other D's one of which was a blue nose, "Blood Brother" the other was Speedball Alice.
I missed the Corsair, B-25 and P-38.
Some great looking plans and lovely pics there Steve. I do like the P-51 with the Bodney markings.
As i understand it, thats the original Hell-er Bust back in its old markings.

Hi all, the Dottie Mae was reveiled this weekend at Nampa ID Warhwak Museum. I was too late ariving to see her fly but was able to get some nice shots. I also got some shots of some P-51's and our movie star the P-40N Parrot head which was in the movies Pearl Harbor and the first scenes of Valkre.
Eduard came out with a 1/32 kit of it last year.
