P-40s, 6 in total.  5 are 48 scale (Monogram, Eduard, Hasegawa, Trumpeter, and Academy) and the sixth is the old Revell kit in 32 scale.  I've built the first 5.

5 Spitfires - new 32 scale Tamiya + old Revell 32 scale, 48 scale Monogram, 2 Tamiya.

i feel kinda silly for responding to this, many of you guy's stashes put me to shame!!  Bow Down

We all got to start somewhere. When i got back into the hobby about 2 and a half years ago i had about that many kits from before i went on my break. But now its shoot up to about 200. But thats only because i am now in a position where i can buy almost any kit i want when i want, so i have been lucky.

You are in good company. I think my stash is less than 40 kits right now.

I just need Squadren to have the 1-penny sale, and then I may be in buisness for "world's largest stash"

I only have about 45-50 kits. Not many are repeats and most are aircraft. The most of one plane that I have is the P-40 (it is my favorite WW2 plane).  I have 4 P-40 kits in total: 1 1/72 scale P-40 Mk.i/ii, 2 Revell 1/48 P-40B's, and the old Revell 1/32 P-40E.

Does anybody wanna take a guess at which plane I have the most of? I'll say that like pilot, I have 7 of them. Will be picking up a few more before years end.

For me its easy:

7 B-17s (4 -F, 2 -G, and 1 Vis-G) all 1/48 (still need two more Gs to complete my collection of 17 variants)

Followed closely by  5 1/44 Boeing 737s (doing a collection of all the different types, still need four NG versions to get all nine)

If you count types of, then I have over 20 kits of WWII multi-engine planes (B-17, -24, -29, -25, -26, C-47, Me-110, Ju-52, Lanc, Mossie, etc) all 1/48

no its not, not if you have the right woman. Mine is perfectly happy with me modelling, and she is insisting that i get myself a model shed to build in.

My wife is the same way. She's an artist (painting and graphic arts) so she can't complain about buying paint, tools and kits. She's acctually very happy that i'm back into the hobby. And I do plan on having several A-10's since there are at least three paint schemes that I can do and that doesn't include the two-seater N/AW-10.

The F-14 Tomcat.  I have 3, very few by the standards of most others.  I like to have as many different subjects in the stash as I can.  The F-14 is my favorite jet so I can justify having 3 I guess.

If i didn't buy anymore kits and just built what i have, i recon i could be done by the time i am 60, and i am coming upto 41.

50% of the stash are 1/72 military jets and I have my share of armor, propeller planes, helicopters, sci-fi/fantasy, a couple of ships and one car. Generally I have no more than one of each subject but the Tornado is an exception since I have 6 of those beautiful birds.

Figure sets... I don't count them in my stash of kits because they're all just parts... Seldom do I use a figure that's S.O.B., except for drivers and pilots and such, even then I gotta change arms & turn heads...

Got around 300 sets now, since I buy some about every time I go in for paint or such.. Doesn't matter what they are...

ye, i am the same, don't count figure sets. For me they are a compliment to the mian subject, namely the vehicle or aircraft. Don't think i have that many hans, but not far behind. I haven't got around to altering the figures yet, namely because i haven't done a dio in 2 years, but since reading some of your posts, i am deffinatly going to give it a go. I am tired of having the dio just fitting round the poses of the figures i have rather than the figures fitting how i want the dio to look.

Armor and lots of it ranging from WWII to the modern era, but truth be told a majority of it is Russian armor. Also have some fig' sets strewn about and even a Mig.....despite the fact I don't really build aircraft.
