Hey RX7850,
84 kits! Man, that is something. If you don't mind me asking, was this an on-line purchase, estate sale, etc? The reason I ask is I had thought about starting a post with everyone's "great finds/purchases". Everyone has had some sort of great find, estate sale find, large lot of kits find....something that just doesn't happen every day. Stuff like this is exactly the type of stories I was thinking of. Anyway, great stash builder story!

LOL,
You read my mind. The idea has been bouncing around in my head for a while I just wasn't sure there would be any interest.. Since returning to the hobby I have been on a continuous spending spree ( just beginning to get it in check ) Lots of great deals on kits, tools, etc. And as you stated everyone has come across a great deal or out of the way find that otherwise would have gone unnoticed. There is a post here about what is a good alternative to a Dremel . Members gave alternative options like the bead reamer from Michael s and the pedicure polishing kit from WalMart. I would like to start a thread were members can post these great and creative options as an alternative to the typical hobby store / Ebay purchase. I have come across many items that would be an asset to our hobby but are otherwise given no consideration yet are under our noses in the isles of Walmart, Lowes , Homedepot, Michaels crafts Stores, Job Lots, etc. God knows we modelers are always looking to save a buck . So if you want to start a reference thread were members can post the latest deals, and discoveries go for it . I got your back.
I recently posted about the auction site that I purchased these kits from it's called Proxibid.com . There Is an upcoming auction chock full of 1/35 armor . If your interested look up Alternative to Ebay, Heres a link thou I'm no sure it will work. http://cs.finescale.com/fsm/general_discussion/f/9/t/153252.aspx.
