May be over my slump

Awesome to hear! I think down time is important. Everyone has periods where they just don't feel like doing things they normally would. I used to compound this feeling - like I think most people do - with telling myself that there was something wrong, but there really wasn't. It's just a normal thing. I used to go at things obsessively in my youth, and it led to a lot of burnout. One thing I appreciate about being older is that I've learned to take things at a healthy pace, and not to force things. Time off/away from things leads to renewal, and just like you have discovered with sanding and painting, things are often more enjoyable when you return to them than before. Have fun, cwalker3!

Congrats on the new builds! Sometimes it takes something different to jar us back awake. I haven't touched plastic myself since last October; haven't had the right opportunities, but the Corsair my son is working on is coming along, so at least the desk isn't gathering dust...

I think we'd all love to see some pictures if at all possible.  Gotta love that Munstermobile!!!

Thanks for all the props guys. The issue I'm trying to deal with right now is the correct skin colors. The TV shows were in black and white as are most pics that Google pulls up. On top of that I'm color blind so I have to rely on my wife to pick the colors. We did that yesterday and settled on Mr. Color IJN Gray Green. Once everything's painted up, I'll do the final assembly and promise to post a few pics.
