I ordered this stand for the Airbus 380-800 I'm working on.  It's from a diecast site but should work nicely.

Thanks,

John

Well I’ve been nickel and dimming my wingy thingy additions over the past several weeks.

First up I bought these 3-D decal US seat harnesses. I’ll be using them on a project that I’ll resume after the New Years.

Then I picked up this replacement canopy for my long sidelined P-35 build. So that’s one I intend to pull off the sideline in 2022

And lastly I received a reduced price offer for this one on eBay, so I pulled the trigger on it

Nice stuff Stick. That Willow looks a lot like  PT-17 Hmm. With the exception of the upper wing sweep

John: That is a gorgeous display stand. Beautifully done.

Stik: Nice additions you have pulled in. Love the Willow. I actually have 3 of the Entex kits.It is a very cool subject.

A couple of newbies to my stash have arrived.

A new addition to my meager 1/32 stash. Always had my eye on this choice P-47

And, my latest acquisition in my growing Arma Hobby stash. Also added the Hataka acrylic set of paints.

Tonight I traded a Weirdos and a Revell GT500 Mustang for a Bag-O-Parts and I'm thrilled! This is almost all of the Revell Shirley Muldowney Dragster. Going to build this unobtainium into the finished thing for the Pink Brea$t$ GB.

Scalemates lists the kit history so I have 5 other kits to look for that will have my missing parts. Going to be a fun time at the next local show Balloons

In the pattern: Scale Shipyard's 1/48 Balao Class Sub! leaning out the list...NOT! Ha, added to it again - Viper MkVii, 1/32 THUD & F-15J plus a weekend madness build!

I'd be curious to know what kind of luck you have with those harnesses.

Im curious to see how they work out myself. Keep an eye on my F8F build, as that's where I'm planning to try them out when I resume that project in a couple of weeks.

Nice pick on the Muldowney dragster. I got to meet her in 1978 and she was a first class driver and lady all the way. Do you already have the decals your looking for?

For me I got my Junkers JU 52/3m Transport pilots in 1/48 (something I will have to modify) and yes they show as RAF pilots, but they will be modified as German figures when I'm done with them. I ask for a chance to make these work as there is nothing in the market for a seated WW2 German Pilot that is not a fighter pilot. Trust me, these will work:

I just received the 1/35 tank crew from Master Box Ltd. to use with my TACOM Jagdpanther G1:

And last are some 3d printed replacements for the 1/350 IJN Type 96 25mm AA guns sold by Black Cat Models (France) to be used on my current Yamato WIP:

Very Christmas and Happy New Year to all.

Bish that's gonna be cool. Love the blade on a tank, even more daunting tehn normal.

On my end I got a few things, the Hawker Hunter is going to be an airshow bird, in the sunburst theme of Miss Demeanour. And my buddy sent me out a Navy dog, the Greyhound!

We were keeping it simple this year with one gift for each. I got her a pair of winter boots and she got me...............................wait for it................................. a Polar Lights Round 2 Speed Racer. Absolute surprise! Never even talked about it. Always said she was a keeper and she still is. (Whispering)And she said I had too many kits in the stash.Big Smile

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to each and every member of the forums and their families. From the looks of it, we're all going to have a busy year working on those gifts.Wink

I got one model from a friend, which is actually a relief since I availed myself to several kits a few days ago!  Anyway, it's Nausicaa's jet flyer (Mowe) from Bandai.  I actually do not have this kit in the stash, and the creaky gears in my twisted mind are turning...

Well I have a few to show.

For Christmas I received some VERY cool stuff.

The 1/35 RFM Oshkosh M1240A1 with full interior.

1/48 Suyata Panther A with full interior and 16 ton crane. I need to come up with a dio idea for both of these kits.

My wife bought me a camera arm so I can start making videos.

Before Christmas I got these on eBay.

Modern Marine tank crew for my Marine M60.

Ther rest is just because

Congrats on the two great kits!  I have the Hawker Hunter in my stash and the Greyhound looks like it'll be an interesting build!  Always wanted to get my hands on a 1/48 Hawkeye.  Merry Christmas

Oh wow guys, nice Christmas hauls!!!

Mongoose: The Hunter is a beautiful plane and love the Greyhound too.

Jim: She's a keeper for sure, very cool.

Real G: You need one for yourself. What are you waiting for? Wink

Steve: Wow oh WOW!!! Whatta haul! Love the MRAP and the cool crane and Panther. The Airfix vehicle set is fantastic! I build them years ago (frankly I need to post them) I will caution you the plastic is super soft. Please be careful on sanding. I took off way more than I wanted in a few places.

I picked up a few things for myself:

Lostagain build the upper food truck for my Japanese GB a few years ago and I thought it cool enough I wanted my own. And then I noticed they'd done this cool sushi truck too!

I had to pick up a little heavy metal:

And I thought this was just cool:

My nephews got me this. Not something I probably would have bought myself but it's cool.

And not a model but this is pushing me more and more into a car modeler. I hadn't played a driving/racing game in decades so I picked up Forza 4 on a Black Friday sale. And it sucks trying to drive with a keyboard and mouse so I bought myself a nice wheel and pedals for Christmas. It's a little jury-rigged now but I'm hoping to set up something that works better when I get it dialed in.

Nice set up Gam. I bought a Logitech X52 HOTAS for DCS. Won't be here for a week or to though. I'm currently building up a gaming computer but it won't be complete for a while building it piecemeal. The hard part is finding affordable graphics cards. They are like finding hen's teeth, and if you do find one, it's 4x the price. The data miners snatched them all up for the processing power and memory. Even the used ones on eBay are outrageous. Better to stick to modeling.
