modelcrazy, We probably all have those first few builds or more that just don't make the cut anymore!  I know I've got a few.  But that is the great thing about this hobby, you can usually pick up said kit, and build it again with new found skills.  Thanks!

Waikong, Thank you!  I've still got a few of the first builds with the biggest mistakes ever!  I'm slowly working on replacing them with new builds!

practice, practice, practice, nice looking builds! Thanks for reminding us we can all improve if we stick to it and keep building.  I should find the first model I built when I first returned to the hobby and compare with the latest build.  Visible seams, silvering decals, orange peel, foggy clear parts, glue blobs, ... its got it all :)

Your first build looks better than mine did. A Cessna Skymaster with too much glue and melted wings LOL.

I've watched you off and on and you have really come a long way. Keep it up.

Scottrc, Thank you!  I know what you mean!  It took me quite a while to get the C-17 done.  I haven't started on anything else since wrapping it up either.  Lots of things to do outside.  The weather here has actually been very nice!

goldhammer, yea, I'm not going anywhere, lol.  Just haven't been around as much since the break in weather.  I've been into photographing real aircraft lately as well, since we just had an airshow in my hometown.  One more show to go to next month too.  Then I'l have plenty of reference for more models!

You have come a long way in a couple of years, just like Toshi. Glad you're going to hang around,  well done m'lady.  If any of us have been a help, well, that's what we're here for, pick each others brains.  Easier to learn from someone who has "been there, done that".  I'm in the same boat, looking at what others build makes me strive to emulate...have gotten better from my kid "glue bomb" days, but nowhere near most on here.  You and Toshi in office detail paintng especially.

Great post, you have came a long way and your build logs have been wonderful to follow.  Both you and Toshi are members who really seem to bring out the ambition for modeling.  

Great to see you back.  I am also just in for a visit.  I havn't seem my workbench since April due to so many other Spring and now Summer tasks at hand.

It's been great watching folks like you and Toshi improve from model to model in just the time you've been posting here. And great seeing the enthusium from you guys to an old dog like me that's been doing this for years and gotten a bit jaded. 

Thanks everyone!  I have a Harrier to re-do at some point as well.  I think it was the second model I did.  It was at least painted, but with a paint brush, lol. 

I've been busy working on a full scale project lately, so not much bench time.  But I am still lurking around here.
