I’m with you. How the hell do you post pictures? There’s got to be a reason you just can’t upload pictures from a device. I tried using Imgur but can’t figure it out.

I finally am in the position to be able to post a couple of my builds as follows:

Revell Victory, was my second built, it is not perfect but the wife likes it.

Revel Victory

The next one is a Jolly Roger by Linberg, very detailed and bigger than the Victory:

Jolly Rogers

I just realized that the other 2 photos of the Jolly Rogers were out of focus, so I will take new pictures and add then to the forum.

There is one more ship, a very small wooden vesel mainly designed for the very beguiner, it looks OK but I do not beleive the folks of this blog would be interested in it.

I also plan to take photos of my current build, which is about 2/3 completed and it is coming pretty good.

Looks great!  And be sure to post these in the ship builders forum as well - you'll get lots of great feedback.

Thanks,

John

FSM doesn't have the server space to hold tens of thousands of pictures whereas a photo hosting site is designed for it.

Building a kit from your stash is like cutting a head off a Hydra, two more take it's place.

Persomally, I prefer to post in the forum for the particular model subject forum- airplane forum for airplanes, car forum for cars, etc.

Absolutely Don.  My original post was to encourage folks to post their builds, not necessarily in this thread.

Title fixed

Thanks,

John

Here one more photos of the Jolly Rogers that are a bit easier to see, hope you like it.

I have forgotten the train my daugthers gave me for my birthday about a year ago, here is a couple of photos.

Here it another one

The beuty of this model is there is no glue, not painting, and no treads to run, everithing snaps together and even moves! But is is not a toy, it took me over a week to complete the build.

Wow, the engine and tender are very unique and cool.  How many parts was that?

Thanks,

John

I do not remember exacly, but there were about 500 parts. It is all laser cutted wood and everithing snaps together, it has a rubber band (about 12 of them) engine, and, if you wind them up, the train will move. The instructions were very detailed, but still took over a week to put together.
