I’m at a point in my life and hobby where I’m good with whatever comes down the pipeline.  There are kits I’d like to see, but most of my Grail kits have been done in one form or another.

If I could ask the Model Genie for three model related wishes, I‘d ask for 1) the power to finish what I start in a timely manner, 2) to finish off my stash before I pass on, and 3) to be good at weathering my models using curent materials and methods.

...Okay, okay, I’ll play:

1) Saab AJ-37 Viggen in 1/48 by Tamiya, with seated pilot, full ordnance, and a precut masking sheet for the splinter camouflage.  No detail boo boos like in the Tarangus kit.

2) Imperial Probe Droid in 1/12 by Bandai.  Full leg articulation via Bandai’s patented System Injection.

3) MS-06D Zaku Desert Type as a 1/100 Bandai Master Grade kit.  With waterslide decals in lieu of the stupid stickers.

1) A really good and accurate 250-GTO, 1:18.

2) Accurate 1:32 Stinson Reliant.

3)      "         1:32 Ryan Spirit of St. Louis.

I've got to agree with Mr. Real.  All I really would like is the time and focus to work my way through some of the kits in my stash.  No way I will get them all built, but if I could shift from six months per kit to two kits per month, then I would be sittin' in tall cotton.

But, as they say, if I had to choose, I would want a few cars that arent available to me now, cars in 1/25 scale.  Or 1/24, I'm easy:
1) 1967 AAR Eagle T1G Formula 1
2) 1966 BRM P83 F1 with the H-16 engine
3) Chaparral 2F

    Lets see, I seem to jump at " the coolest new thingy" that comes out, why my stash has out grown my lifespane, but if I could have 3 kits....

  1/200 USS Ranger CV-61 circa 1988-91, with correct airwing.

     1/48 or 1/32 scale EA-6B Prowler, with VAQ- 131 Lancer low vis decals....preferably from Tamyia so the intake trunks are actually deep enough and fit is near perfect.

I'd like a 1:32 Reliant too, but the 1:48 Roden one is pretty nice.

Any high enduance or medium endurance modern (designed in the 60's and later) Coast Guard cutter in 1/200 scale

Although I would enjoy seeing some large  scale models of things that interest me (like an F2A/B339 Buffalo, or some WWI/Interwar or early WWII armor) I realize that I probably don't really have the time, skill, or storage space to really do a large scale model justice.

As such, I guess a couple things that I would be interested in seeing (that I might actually be able to do something with) would be either a Fiat 126/126p, a Nissan Figaro, an FSO Syrena, or a Wartburg 311/312/313 model in almost any scale (though I would prefer 1/24-1/25).

The Stinson SR9 was one my dad's favorite airplanes. I'd like to see this airplane rendered accurately in 1/48. And being from St. Louis, the same for the Spirit of St. Louis. maybe emboss the cowling instead of using a decal to show the detail on the metal.

I build in 48th and 72nd. So I'll give 3 of each

1) A 1/72nd Ju 87C with folding wings, of failing that a conversion. Been at the top of my wish list for years.

2) 1/32nd Fw 200. With all the 32nd 4 engined allied aircraft coming out, why not a Condor.

1/35th Sd.Kfz 251/23. been done as a Cyber Hobby white box, but needs to be done as a mainstream kit.

I have to agree with Real G. Honest to gosh I really need to get off my duff and BUILD some the stuff in my stash before I become a full scale horder... 

However; I'll add one model I would like to see. A good kit of the U.S.S. Cygnus, Space Probe One from the 1979 Disney movie 'The Black Hole'. So-so flick but OMG what a beautiful ship! There was a model made when the film aired but it's insanely hard to find these days and I hear it wasn't all that good. Just a good quality kit is all I want. Make it mostly PE with the ability to light her from inside.

   Number Two--a trip back in time to pick up a 1/16 scale model of the Austin Healey 3000

   Number Three - A well molded 1/25 model (Unassembled) of a Johan 1963 Chrysler Newport 2dr ht!

 For 1/72- Well there's that. All Ships. U.S.S.Midway 1963 fit.

There was a 1/200 Yamato kit by Nichimo back in the 1970s, but the quality and accuracy reflect the era of its release.

Gammera, would you be mad at me, if I told you that I found one of those kit's in a thrift store 3 year's ago..... for $15 ..... and I passed it up so I could get the old Revell U-99 kit ?

( I went back a month later and it was gone ... bummer. )

If you find a Cygnus thewe days jit will cost a lot more than it did back then, and yes, it wasn't that good a kit.

One kit that I would love to have would be a 1/350th kit of the Carrier Wolverine and a detail set to go with it.  I have the 1/700th kit and it was well made and came with a small P.E. set.  Not exactly cheep.

The next kit I would like is what we called a weapons truck, a M-715 in 1/35th scale:

We used them as a light and fast quick response vehicle when necessary, but mostly as a patrol vehicle with usually 3 men.  

There used to be conversion sets to make my Air Force version but I can't seem to find any.  The short weapon in teh front by the M-60 is a M=174 40mm automatic grenade launcher.  Nice effective weapon.  This should be included in the kit as it was always carried.

Wouldn't be that long of one....less plastic than the big bombers in 1/32.

Yeah, a 715 would be nice.  Now that Revell has the Jeep p/u out.......

A Wagoner or Cherokee would be nice too.
