My 2020 in plastic
Posted by oortiz10 on Thursday, December 31, 2020 7:01 PM

As terrible as 2020 and the pandemic have been, the lockdown and working from home have allowed me A LOT of bench time. I think I've gotten more built in the last 9 months than I did in all of 2018 and 2019. Here's my 2020 in chronological order. All except the Skyraider are "Covid builds".

Monogram 1/48 AD-6 Skyraider

Monogram 1/48 F-84F Thunderstreak

Tamiya 1/48 Spitfire Mk. Vb

Hobby Boss 1/48 A-7A Corsair II

Hasegawa 1/48 A-4E  Skyhawk

Italeri 1/48 AH-1Z built as a AH-1(4B)W

Monogram 1/72 Space Shuttle

Monogram 1/144 Apollo Saturn V Rocket

Monogram 1/48 B-1B Bomber

1225th Escort Squadron - Family Christmas Project

I hope everyone has a safe, healthy and prosperous 2021.

Happy modeling in the new year FSM!

Wow, some crazy neat work there. I love it all. The rocket is amazing and very inspiring. You should be proud of each and every one.

Totally awesome work O!

All great Builds!  But that last one is top notch!

LOL, when I saw the escort squadron I saw the red thing in the back and wandered what it was. Great work. Apollo is very impressive. The corsair and the Skyhawk is on my wish list for 2021

Cool stuff Omar!  I was going to say that the Apollo was my favorite, but when Castlenuovo pointed out the 1225 Squadron build, that became my favorite.  Look forward to more in 2021,
