It's that time of year. Where we show off our year's build. I started off great this had the bright idea of starting the Akagi right in the middle, that slowed me down....considerably. I did get a few more done during, but nowwhere as many as I could have.
So here we go...2020's builds
To start off, my Secret Santa gift. The Academy 1/350 Oliver Hazard Perry
Next is the 1/350 Dragon Spruance. It was in my stash for 20+ years
The next little guy was a kit I got for $3. The decals are from Rising Sun. 1/72 Revell Ki-45 Nick in captured American markings. Old Revell, very little detail.
Next was the 1/72 Hasegawa A-7A. Another older kit with very little detail.
Next was something that was bouncing around my head for quite some time. The space battleship Missouri. Hacked up from the old Revell Missouri, with engine nozzels donated by The Real G.
This next one I built for the HobbyTown in cooperation with Bandai's National Galactic Star Wars Model Contest. Unfortunatly the Covid hit and all personal showings were out the window. So the contestants sent in Pictures. The destroyed Bandai AT-ST.
Then, the Covid hit..........and I started the Akagi.
I finished just 4 more kits.
The 1/72 Academy AH-64 British Apache.
The 1/48 Hasegawa Fi-103 V1
The 1/72 Hasegawa M3 Lee.
And finally a build I built for a good friend of mine.
The 1/32 Williams Brothers Gee Bee R1
10, actually not that bad!
I sincerely hope everyone has a happy, safe and blessed 2021!
