Update on dio "Walk with me Lord"

The P38 was built then about a year later completely torn apart to experiment with various ideas, it was rebuilt after I came up with a dio or better yet a cyc. The story is wounded pilot trying to land a crippled ship with no usable nose gear and jammed starboard gear plus a hung up bomb. Pacific Island, palms and usual crates, camo, sand bags barrels etc. Behind the entire set will be an almost semi-circle of sky with clouds. Hope to have the dunes and maybe the palms before the weekend. Thanks to every body for looking. Don   

I think I get the quick jist of the idea, but I sure would like to hear more of what you want/ what you have planned ....

I don't think the plane looks like complete trash, but then again its not done yet either ..... Just another work in progress .....

Got the prop feathered and here's a pic of the mounting of the plane to the base.

Just a suggestion, maybe feather the starboard props (turn them into the wind--90 degrees from usual) to show that engine/prop has stopped.  Just a thought, looking forward to more pics!  =0) 

Can't get the pics to load but I've bent a piece of spring steel up inside the landing gear and bent it at a angle to just get the port side wingtip above the ground. Yes I agree the model is trash which exactly what it was. Out of the junk pile that I use for experiments. Thanks Don   

I think I see what you are trying to achieve.  One thing that really sticks out are the bad seams on the aircraft which needs to be cleaned up.  That is the first thing one will notice.  How do you plan on mounting the aircraft to the base?
