                        Hey Russ, your glass solution using food wrap film looks great!!! I remember you agonizing a few years back how to beat the distortion of the styrene, but looks like you got it right!!! Wow, your BUFF looks like it did a few tours over Hanoi for sure, Fab!!!

                        I'm happy to see that AIM has produced the Big Belly bomb clip munitions trailer (transporter) and an empty bomb clip to go with it.
                         
                         
                        However, there doesn't appear to be a source for 1/72 MK-82 bombs to populate the clips. Do any of you know of one?
                         
                        Below is a picture of the completed AIM munitions trailer model (left) next to one of mine. Their kit is very nicely built and detailed and what I can tell from the advertisement (they haven't sent me a clip yet), the bomb clips look really good too.
                         
                        Have any of you built a clip and posted a picture somewhere? If so, please post a link to it here.

                         

                        One item of note: each AIM trailer kit comes with a nicely detailed tool box sitting on the trailer, but in the real world, there was only one tool box for X number of trailers. And the box would not have been carried on the trailer but would have been carried in a maintenance truck or van. However, showing the tool box sitting on a stationary trailer would not be out of place. You just wouldn't have seen one on each trailer or sitting on a trailer that was being towed.

                        Hi Russ!

                        Living proof of the quality of your work!

                        I started the clips and got the pylons cut to size, but while I was working on that 5 years ago someone burst angrily into my hobby room in bad need of a divorce! - no kidding! LOL!

                        I don't think I'll ever get around to completing the clips now, my eyes are bad and hands aren't as steady anymore either, but good news is that I do hve some MK-82's around if you need them!

                        Thanks for the good words, my friend! Sorry to hear about your clips (and divorce) but I understand about your vision problem. I'm getting there too. Thanks to my magnifying glasses, I can still do some building. Guess I'll keep at it as long as I can Smile.

                        Many thanks for the offer of the MK-82s but all my trailers are built now and I don't think I could force myself to build another one lol.
