 Hello Panzerguy,

Congrats on the publication, I think they made a good choice to publish this. IT ROCK's... I was looking @ the pics. and thought to myself, It's a good thing that the dog's interest are being averted from the rabbit. Congrats again! Job well done.

 Best Regards,

panzerguy:  After seeing this I have to wonder if you have art experience in 3-D composition?  Several things I notice...the lines of the barrel juxatoposed by the view of the soldiers, I like how they are looking the other way, but as they do the corner is locked down by the vertical line of the man viewing his watch.  The laziness of the man on the barrel is perfect.  If he were sitting on the ground it wouldn't be nearly as effective.  I also like the calm and inqusitive look of the man near the dog...all of these were either hugely lucky in their placement or extremely well thought out!!!  As I look at this my eye looks at each vignette but stays within the bounds of the base...MASTERFULLY DONE, I cannot tell you how impressed I am by this dio'...please put this bad-boy into competition, it deserves to earn its due reward.

Great diorama!  I think scenes of soldiers outside of action are often more interesting than those of combat.

Very well-thought out and well-composed!

Biffa, Doog, Dre, Madmike, Samreichart, T-rex Thank's for the thumb's up guy's.

Gald to hear the rabbit is a hit. The first one I  was going to use just did'nt cut it.

Manny I just spread some white glue were I wanted my "snow". Sprinkeled the snow over it and let it dry. Afterwards I vacumed off the excess.

That is really one of the best we've seen in a long time!

The details are great, and kudo's on the rabbit as well--I love little "eye candy" like that!

Just make sure that doog doesn't get run over when they pulll out of there! Whistling [:-^] Wink [;)]

That really is a good story, frozen (as it were) in time.  I get the idea that the guy wrapped up in his blankey is sick, whereas everyone else is just cold.  That rabbit- AWESOME!  It adds just the right lighthearted touch, as if it is thinking "I'm outta here before I become dinner!"

Again, just AWESOME!!Bow [bow]

What a marvellous diorama.

That tanker on the Marder looks freezing. I hope the coffee is hot!

    Thank's Manny, Ps1scw,SteveM,RBaer for the great comment's.

Manny the snow is the woodland sceanic's stuff.By the way any chance I can get you to be a judge at the next show I attend LOL.

This started out as a simple dio to just show off the Marder but half way threw I got this pic in my head and I just could'nt let it go.

Well if I were a judge I think it would take a really awesome dio to beat yours...I recently got some of that Woodland's Scenic snow myself, although I am using my old "micro-balloon" snow on my current dio...what do you use to seal it with?

Simply awesome. I particularly like the "snapshot" quality of the (figure) poses.

panzerguy, this is truly stunning work. I think the rabbit came out better than ok, it's fantastic. The posing of the figures is very life-like and the painting is masterful. The Marder looks perfect. I admire your groundwork abilities. Like Manny suggested, I can almost sense the frostbite.

I'm in love with this scene, it is an award winner. Congratulations on an excellent dio.
