Average, baloney!

Beautiful job! I love the paint, weathering, diorama, ... the whole shebang.

Someday, when I grow up, I want to be able to build a 1/48 scale WWII aircraft with half the craftsmanship that your model displays.

Joe - She's a dandy, mighty fine job you made of it. Thanks for the post and photos, interesting thing that airplane was. Have to wonder just how it may have performed if it saw service, but glad it didn't.

She's a real beauty, Joe.

Thanks for posting this WIP, this aircraft caught my eye a couple years back (hadn't known it existed) and it is great fun to be able to see yours from start to finish.

Splinter schemes are sort of boring (at least mine have been so far!!), but the way you've done this with the pre and post and streaking and shading made the splinter scheme come to life like I've never seen before.

Well done.

Thanks for the compliment, but I'm an average modeler with a few tricks.......that's all.

You are way .....way too humble Joe. Your build looks really good. Great paint and weathering. Yes

Thanks everyone.  You are all very kind.

Britt, indeed I do, I just started the Revell 1/32nd scale Bf109 G-6 with a pantsload of extras.  This will be my first 1/32 scale kit......oh the pressure!  I'll start a thread soon.
