P-38J with Eduard cockpit.

Rocket tubes from parts bin

Decals from Aeromaster 80th FG India

I knocked the cockpit top glass off while taking the picture will have to fix that.  Had to use the tail stand I guess 5 oz of weight wasn't enough.  The nose gear is a little wobbly now.

Sharp looking Lightning there.  5 oz of lead and she's still a tail-sitter?  Man, that's a lot of weight!  How was the fit on this one?  I have heard good and bad reports about it.

Nice build of a difficult kit.  Thanks for sharing.

As Rick said, nice job on a difficult kit.  I've always liked those markings.

Me too. Ive fancied doing on for a while but the fit issues (Or alleged fot issues) have put me off.

Youve made that one look great. Decals make it stand out too.

It really wan't that bad.  The only place to be careful is where the booms meet the wing.  Nothing a few quick swipes with a sanding stick didn't cure. I'll build another...
