r13b20-The wingspan is 27.6875" and the fuselage length is 21.75" (two inches bigger-both ways than Monogram's 1/48 scale B-17G!).  The photo below shows some of the kit parts beside a Monogram 1/48 scale SBD-3.

Raualduke-The base upper surface color blue is Model Master U.S. Navy Blue Gray (enamel).

I was just talking about a Dauntless from this battle on Lawdog's thread.  =]  You've definitely got a nice one here.  It is nice to see the softer side of weathering a hard working warplane like this one.  =]
