Stuka decal question

Speaking of instrument panels. I just got a Promodeler P-51B/C that has been started with interior painting in places and such. But, the instrument panel looks life like. ie the dials look real and have glass like lenses. I'm sure this is not how the kit came and was done by the person who started it. Does that mean its aftermarket or likely punched out and custom built? It looks really nice. Better than any AM piece I've ever seen. Any ideas how this can be done?

I'm kinda thinkin' a North Africa theme on this build. I have a dogfight set that are both set for North Africa  and I think this would make a great addition to them. I'm gonna hit SprueBros for a set I like. Not the snake, ya that would be an exercise in hate and discontent.

I'm about to start the same kit for which I got off E-bay too.  The white on my decals is also yellowing.  I recommend you avoid Hasegawa decals which are generally thick and hard to work with anyways.  That snake will be a nightmare.  Sprue Brothers has a great selection of B-2 decals as does E-bay.  I'd go that route Brandon.

Well, I got it cheap so I'm not really all that worried about it. I'm going to build it later and will most likely be going with a dark scheme, but the B-2 Trop with the snake looks kinda cool so I make go that direction. As long as they don't look "wrong" on the plane and I weather it I guess it really doesn't matter much. Come to think of it on a weathered Trop it might look better than pure white.

The old, i.e. 1990s, early 2000s Hasegawa kit decals were always a bit poor. The white was always printed as a dirty off white for whatever reason, even when the kit was new. I would go aftermarket if it bothers you.

They should be white. But if its not that off white, depending on whether your going to weather it, you may not have to worry. My only concern would be how the decals will react when you try and put them on. You could play safe and get some AM decals.

They are supposed to be white.

Tape it up in a sunny window for a couple of weeks, one that doesn't get condensation at night.
