Thanks.

Hmmm, not sure exactly... I used some 3/8 washers glued together. I wanna say 10-20 grams?
Nathan, how much weight did you add to the front to keep the tail up?
I've always loved the look of this aircraft. What you've done is just amazing. Great job!

Chasing the ultimate build.
Thanks guys. Glad this one's still turning heads. The camo colors were actually fairly easy to nail down; it was the pattern that was difficult. No rhyme or reason to the pattern or layout whatsoever.
Thats a fine example of a Mig 21 kit! Really nice color contrasts!
No bucks, no Buck Rogers

Man, what an eye for color you have ! it looks just like the pic of the real thing.
I'm impressed with your ambitious 4 color camo too. I'm working up the courage to try a 3 color on my F-6 and that's just straight line blues and grey.
I'm finally retired. Now time I got, money I don't.
Man, ain't no old thread safe from you guys around here...Glad you found it and like the build. ...and I am gonna go check for my seat cause I remember not glueing it down, it fit so well

Thanks for the comments guys. Glue Bomber- No reason you shouldn't have a great looking kit in the end. Eduard did right on this one.
I started this very kit yesterday, I hope mine turns out half as good as yours. Excellent work!
A 1/48 scale B-29 will not hang from the ceiling with 3 pieces of fishing line!
That's beautiful work Nathan! A fantastic rendition of an iconic Cold War aircraft, congratulations on an excellent model dude.
Gary
Well done, Nathan!
Wow Nathan that is one awesome looking Mig! Fantastic job!
Looks great! The weathering underneath on the blue parts looks really good!

Just finished this build for Stikpusher's Latin American GB. Its a little past due but its now done and it was a fine build. The Eduard Line of Mig-21's are fantastic. Great detail, plenty of options, and perfect fit, even when loaded with Brassin Items such as this build. I fitted the Brassin cockpit and Exhaust nozzle, along with Brassin wheels and a Master Model Pitot tube. The Weekend kits are a bit lacking in essentials, as Eduard now no longer offers stencils with them, and the decals they do give you are of a lesser quality. I ended up using decals from Aztec for this bird:
The 4 color top camo was a bit tricky and I ended up mixing a few of the shades from Gunze colors. Here's a shot of the brassin pit and seat:
