Hi all you wingers! Smile

My Dad sent me this cool site that has some great reference shots of a B17G. I figured someone here might appreciate it.

Those are awesome pics!! Tons of great close-up shots rarely seen by the public - especially the Norden gun sight. Thanks for sharing! Stik .... are you seeing this for a possible future B-17 project? LOL!

Some great shots! "Overcast" is a great airplane, and EAA is working hard to make her as complete as possible. Keep in mind that the instrument panel is different than operational Forts, and all the structure of the top turret is not installed, but the rest of her is as accurate as we can make it, and keeps getting more so as we acquire more artifacts to install.

Have you flown a Ford lately?

Thanks for those. I love the Fort.

I'm taking a ride on the Liberty Foundation's 17 "Memphis Belle" (not the actual Belle) this year when she comes to Boise ID. Already have the tickets. So baring any reason I would not be able to go, I will be taking as many pics as possible of her.

Building a kit from your stash is like cutting a head off a Hydra, two more take it's place.

Noticed those recessed panel lines. Actually, the panels overlap; best represented by raised panel line!
