Tamiya 1/48 De Havilland Mosquito FB Mk.VI (My 7th Build)
Posted by UKguyInUSA on Wednesday, May 6, 2015 9:51 AM
Hello Guys, I just thought that I'd share with you my build of the Tamiya 1/48 De Havilland Mosquito FB Mk.VI, affectionately known as the "Mossie" and the "Wooden Wonder". This was my first Tamiya kit that I had built and completed on April 27th, 2014, and was the kit that got me loving Tamiya as my first choice for aircraft kits! This was built totally out of the box with no extras added and went together like a dream. I highly recommend this kit if you're a lover of the "Mossie" and haven't built one yet. There are plenty of after-market enhancements available, too, if you like to spend the extra money to do that, but, I think with its nicely detailed cockpit, bomb bay including fuel cells and the undercarriage, that it looks awesome straight out of the box! If you'd like to see my "Final Reveal" YouTube video for this build, then here is the link to that: https://youtu.be/3tpAeOSnKY8 Thanks in advance for taking a look and commenting, greatly appreciated! Cheers, Martin

Sweet job Yes You Brits can sure make a beauty airplane.

Steve

Building a kit from your stash is like cutting a head off a Hydra, two more take it's place.
