Tamiya 1/32 Mk.XVI Spitfire
Posted by ruddratt on Monday, November 23, 2015 10:33 PM

Hey fellas.  It's been a while since I posted, but the the bench has still been a very busy place.  This is the latest off the bench, and what a joy it was to build.  Pretty much OOB except for a few AM goodies from BarracudaCast and Lifelike roundels & stencils. The main paint is Alclad II's. The yellow band and unit codes were painted & masked.  The engine is also OOB with a few scratchbuilt details added.  I hope you enjoy looking at 'er as much as I enjoyed building 'er.  Thanks for looking!

Building a kit from your stash is like cutting a head off a Hydra, two more take it's place.

Same from me, Mike, a real beauty. The Spit was a natural for the metal finish, graceful as it was. Thanks.

Thanks fellas!  Your comments are very much appreciated.  Yes  It was my first 1/32 Tamiya kit, and it's easy to see why they get such rave reviews.  It was a joy to build. Smile

Outstanding, Mike!

But there was that other 1/32 Tamiya Spitfire you had a hand in...
