To my fellow forum members,
Today was a great day for me. Physically and mentally I felt great for the first time in a long time. I realize that a human being without those two things cannot function in today's world. I know, just ask me. LOL!
The day was much more fulfilling as Mrs. Toshi knew I was feeling better in that she took me on an excursion to a new hobby shop some 40+ miles away. It was worth the travel time of almost an hours drive. The hobby shop in question was called Hobby Town USA in Mentor, Ohio. There, they had trains and RC galore. Aisle of model kits ships, cars, space, misc., and of course without question aircraft.
Mrs. Toshi purchased me two kits, a Revell of Germany 1:32 De Havilland Mosquito and a Revell of Germany 1:32 Focke Wulf Fw190 F-8. The 190 comes with a stand of which I will definately utilize! Mrs. Toshi also purchased a handful of supplies that she felt I needed. After our trip, we went back to town in Streetsboro, Ohio and I took her out to dinner at Applebee's and had a great time.
Now back at our castle, I've taken the opportunity to build the Mosquito first as just have a almost complete Stuka waiting for it's completion. By the way, I had to stop my Stuka build yesterday as I was making a mask out of Tamiya tape for the Stuka canopy. My hands were not responding properly. So Mrs. Toshi told me to stop and we both went onto eBay and purchased a Eduard Mask for the 87B.
So now while I wait for the mask, during the interim, I'll be busy with the Mosquito build. I'm also expecting by the end of next week a delivery also from eBay of a Kitty Hawk 1:32 P-39 Airacobra. I'm so excited, I really can't wait. Until my mask arrives, please view my Mossie build. Thank you in advance to my forum brothers and sisters, your support gives me the drive to progress each and everyday.
Toshi
