When i was on board the USS Eisenhower waiting in the chow line standing in the hanger bay next to an F-14 i noticed that the leading edge of the yellow stickers below the cockpit were a little burnt from going mach speed.Just a little tidbit for detailing.
A fantastic job on both builds.

Nice clean builds, any AM used or OOB ?
Always room for more F-14's far as I'm concerned. They look good.
very nice factory fresh builds
Nick.
I added two more 1/48 Monogram F-14's to my wall of Tomcats. The first is from VF-2 Bounty Hunters using an old Superscale sheet. They call for overall Light Gull Gray, but it should be in TPS, so that's what I did. The second is from VF-111 using the new Fightertown decals. I always liked the Sundowners markings on TPS rather than Gull Gray. Both kits have Verlinden resin seats and a bunch of Steel Beach stuff.
