These are the final shots of my Thunderflash. Tanmodel is a relatively new company from Turkey and this is their first 1/48 scale model. They have interesting projects for the future. The kit itself was very fun to build, and asa an armor fan this was my first aircraft build for a very long time.
Hope you enjoy!
Oh, wow! You did a fantastic job on this build.

Looks awesome. Can you elaborate more on the model and paint? Did you use any AM parts or is it an OOB build. The finish, scheme and markings look fantastic.
Too many models to build, not enough time in a lifetime!!
Beautiful job! I can't wait to get this kit myself. Any pitfalls you noticed? How is the panel line detail?
Great look to this one. Well used.

I've got to say, that's one good looking job you've done on that plane. You sure look like you know what you're doing!

Clean little one owner. Just an excellent job of detail work, not easy on NMF. Completely realistic, thanks for the post and photos.

Great job, looks bettter than the heller model.
Coming over from the dark side and presenting this amazing example has got me agasp !
Your attention to detail is outstanding ...The use of coloring on nmf is very eye catching .

Nathan T Beautiful job! I can't wait to get this kit myself. Any pitfalls you noticed? How is the panel line detail?
Thank you Nathan. I didn't have any problems during building phase, fit was very good. Panel lines were somewhat on the soft side especially where the fuselage halves joined. And there is some subtle graininess on panel surfaces other than that no problems at all.
plasticjunkie Looks awesome. Can you elaborate more on the model and paint? Did you use any AM parts or is it an OOB build. The finish, scheme and markings look fantastic.
Thanks a lot. I didn't use any AM parts this is actually an OOB build. Only thing I added was a couple photoetch belts from spare box, in fact these are some belt lookalike parts from Voyager AM photoetch for an armor kit. I used AK Polished Aluminium from metal series as the base, after that I did some mottling with Tamiya XF-85 Rubber Black and I sparayed another coat of AK Polished Aluminium. Then I sealed it with AMMO of Mig Satin Varnish which I'm impressed with its performance. For weathering I used Florymodel's clay based Dark Dirt Wash and I used Tamiya Dark Brown Panel Line Pait here and there.
Thank you very much to all of you guys, I'm glad you liked it!
Thanks TB for the run down. I was guessing that you had used the black basing technique but your method worked very well in producing a weathered effect. I also use the Flory washes which are just a pleasure to use.
Again, excellent results.
That is an absolutely gorgeous model. You did some of the best NMF and weathering of that finish that I have ever seen. And now I am seriously wanting this kit for my own stash.
Niiiice!
No bucks, no Buck Rogers
That is one outstanding build!
