Alot of us have built one....or more kits of the Messerschmitt Bf109. I'll kick things off with a 1/24 scale Trumpter 109K kit that I converted into a Bf109G-14. I finished this almost four years ago after I got back into this hobby full time. I added a Verlinden update set for the cockpit and firewall area, Master Model gun barrels , Eagle Strike decals and I up gunned it with a set of 20mm cannon pods under the wings.

Shamefully, i only have 2 built. The first is Hasegawa's old 109G-6/R6.

The second is my so far one and only 32nd kit, again Hasegawa, this time an F-4 Trop.

I do also have a built kit of one bit of a 109. This is from HPH and its a 1/18th DB 605 powerplant for the 109G-6.

I do need to pul my fingur out and try and get another built soon.

I am a Norfolk man and i glory in being so

Those are all great looking models gentlemen! Sad to say I've only built one since I was a teen. She's the 1/48th Hasegawa Bf-109E, really great little kit. Decals from Hussar for an aircraft that landed at a French airfield by mistake then ended up handed over to the UK. Probably the most yellow I've painted on a model in years...

I plan on doing a He 162 later this year. Well, actually 3 162's at the same time. A 72nd and 32nd aircaft and 1/18th engine from the same company as the DB 605.

Here's my 1/32 ROG 109G-6 that I did for the 109GB not long ago. It was a delight to assemble and tinker with. I also have all in 1/32 the ROG 109G-10, Trumpeter E-7, G-2/Trop, and K-4. I also have in 1/48 the Zvezda F-2 which is a little jewel of a kit.

Thanks Gamera, yeah it's the old Classic Airframes 109 A/B kit, most had wodden props...which can be tricky to replicate.

Fujimi G-10. At least 10 years old. Still not sure on the color call outs.

Hasegawa G-6.  Ministry of Small Aircraft decals. Horrible

Hasegawa G-2 Eagle Cal decals. Excellent

Hasegawa F-4 Jabo.  Kit decals
