Hodakamax Toshi, not only was your build great but the subject you picked has always looked like a great model to have. Yes, it does look sinister in B&W. I guess you've pushed me closer to buying that kit next! Max

plasticjunkie You need to add a background and it will look like the real thing.

Too many models to build, not enough time in a lifetime!!
Here are some B&W photos of my Phiel. Most if not all the original Phiel photos are in B&W so I thought this would be some cool pics.
patrick206 Toshi - I think this is one of your best builds, very nicely done, thanks for the post and photos. Patrick

You are welcome buddy. I'm trying to remember where in the heck I read that and saw the drawings with the splinter patterns and RLM colors.
Edit:
Here is one article I had in my documents section that I found while building mine.
http://www.clubhyper.com/reference/do335camomu_1.htm
Still looking for the other documentation I found while researching my build a couple of years back.
plasticjunkie Bish plasticjunkie I don't know why the German High Command and the guy with the bad temper decided to go with the boring scheme they went with instead of something like your version Toshi. It looks different and very good. In their defence, it was only a prototype. Had it entered service, i have no doubt it would have got a much more interesting scheme. Bish I know the Pfeil never went operational but i recall seeing the scheme specifications in one of many Luftwaffe directives regarding the RLM use on fighter/bombers. I'm sure changes to the directives would had eventually occurred specially on field applications.

Really, now i didn't know that. I had simply thought that Dornier, being better kown for bombers rather than fighters, had just used stocks of paint they had to hand, especially given the situation at the time. Thanks for that info. I'll have to try and look into that.
I am a Norfolk man and i glory in being so
