I agree with the other comments. Sounds like this build was not the most enjoyable for you, but you would never know with the end result. Your painting, panel line accents, and canopy masking are all top notch. Congrats on finishing, and very well done!!
Thanks for sharing!

Thanks guys! I really do appreciate the feedback!
For the difficulties you point out, it ended up to be a fine representation of an old working warbird. Thanks for the post and photos.

Thank you friend!
Your Heinkel looks really good. Whatever fit issues you encountered appear to have been solved wonderfully.
Rambo nicely done and if you only forgot to do one thing at the end of the build, well you're farther ahead then me in that regard.

Thank you! It always seems to be one thing or another!
cnq That is a beautiful build. Very very clean finished.

Hello friends. I'm calling this one done! So, after looking through the pics, I discovered that I neglected to re-scribe the leading edge panel lines on the wings! But I’m happy overall.
Hello friends. Just a quick update. This one has been a pain in the butt but I can finally see the finish line. Finally got the base coats and decals down. Time for little Mediterranean weathering and I’ll call this one done.
Have you ever had one of those kits that you become quite tired of and you just want to be done as quickly as possible? This is one of those kits. The interior went together well enough but the exterior has succumbed to a few fit problems. Particularly the seam along fuselage, the wing roots, and the engine covers. I’m careful to test fit parts prior to gluing them but I still ran into problems. As with most Airfix kits I’ve built, some parts were quite thick and the plastic is soft which created some irregular joints. But, the show must go on.
Great build. Looking great, I can’t wait to see this aircraft come together.

They have a way of doing that. It's like if I go out in my shop where my stash is it's kinda like that scene in Indiana Jones where the girls is surrounded by mummy's! instead it model's and I have to pick one!!!

John - It started out at the hobby shop, then sat in my stash for a few weeks. A few weeks too long!
So was it on the shelf at your LHS or in your stash when it grabbed you? Lol
