I really like how you did your camouflage!! I’ve stopped using acrylic washes altogether because they do tend to dry too quickly and leave a water stain like you pointed out. In my experience, acrylic washes need to be cleaned up almost as quickly as you apply it. After the gloss cures, I’d let if flow into the panel line, let it dry for about 10-15 minutes, then lightly remove the overage with a slightly moistened Q-tip. I’ve had a ton of good fortune with enamel washes. She’s a beautiful bird!
