Nakajima made Zeroes had the cockpit in a color that was similar to RAF Grey Green. That is the color that Tamiya makes in their “expansion line”.
Mitsubishi made Zeroes used a green in the cockpit that was similar to US interior green. Gunze makes that color , as well as the separate Nakajima color in their paint line.
Each company also used slightly different colors for the exteriors of the aircraft that they built. On green Zeroes the easiest way to tell the producers apart is at the tail. On Nakajima made Zeroes, the color demarcation line sweeps upwards at the tail planes, while Mitsubishi made Zeroes have a straight line from the end of the wing root to the tip of the tail on the rudder.
