My Academy p-38 ,wich is supposed to be a really good kit, wasn't any better than your Monogram.  It was a putty monster too. Kudos to you for soldering thru and producing a fine looking model.

OOH look at all those great looking cars you've built, I tried my first one but can't seem to get a good finish coat of paint on it so far, so it's still on the "waiting for better skills" list. My Wife wanted me to build a model of her first car but she didn't say it was candy apple red ( the most dificult finish to achieve) until after I started it  lol

Thanks for the kind words .Best way to do candy apple red is to paint the body silver, overcoat it with clear red and add a gloss clear coat.

Very impressive build.

What would help - image wise - is to buy some poster board or any large, white, semi-stiff paper/cardboard, gently bend it toward its middle (not creasing it) and photograph your completed kits on that. Looking at what you've just posted (your lovely models notwithstanding) takes a little away from the finished product in that it competes with a very busy background.

Neat! That was one of the first models I ever tackled back as a youngster!
