Looks great, a good size for a young boy to enjoy.

Thank you Tojo72, it is Definately a fun kit and keeping it simple and fun for Ezra, it gets a totally different treatment of the build than if it was just my own project.

It’s so much fun doing stuff with the grandkids. We go bike riding around the block and both of mine love it, unfortunately it’s too freaking hot and they want to come back inside. Can’t blame them for wanting to get out of the heat.

Looks like Ezra is on his way on becoming a great modeler like his grandpa. Stay safe and keep posting.

Thank you so very much plasticjunkie!  Your very kind words touches my heart!  Ezra, Mrs. Toshi, and I try to take him to the pool, shopping for toys, playing video games, and fishing.  Ezra just got a Spiderman bike.  If I can find a photo of it, I'll post it here.

Awesome job Ezra!

He's very innovative and can understand what the next step will be.  Of course, there are times that he'll want to watch one of his favorite cartoons; "Masha and the Bear".  Lol!

M. Brindos

Glad to see you're still at it Toshi!

That's a nice looking bomber.

It's great to hear from you as well.  On my first build here on FSM Forum, it was GMorrison as well as yourself that welcomed me here.  For that, I am ever greatful to you both.  Thank you for the tips and supporting my WIP over these many years!

great to see you around, Toshi.

Ezra and you make a formidable team.

Let me know when you and Mrs Toshi want to come over the pond to spend time in Gods Own Country where there is heart lifting scenery, good food, a trip around my spirits cabinet and you can do as much or as little as you wish.

just a return flight is all you need!

Once again, thank you for the invite.  I Definately want to head out your way and see my ole stomping grounds.  As soon as I get my physical therapy lined up, it's just a matter of time!

Master Ezra is occupied with other things and it's hard to get his attention at times.  But I keep him focused and true so that this project can be completed.  You're a great man, thank you sir.

It's good to hear from you again, I'm glad all is well - and that's one gleaming B24!

Stay safe.

Thank you sir for the kind words.  Instead of the desert sand brown look, I wanted the European theater silver bomber.  Just like the old Monogram kit.

With Master Ezra and Mrs. Toshi taking a nap, I had to see if my brush painting skills were still intact.  I just couldn't let a four year old out brush me.  I decided to brush paint the top half by hand and with a really cheap Walmart brush.  I'm happy to say that you really feel good about yourself and take pride in what and how you do things.  It turned out very well, almost sureal.

I'm ecstatic to be back sir!  I've been constantly keeping busy and trying to heal myself, "Mind Over Matter".  Ezra keeps us busy!

Was wondering about you folks the other day.  Great to hear all is well and you're both back at the bench.  Let the healing continue for both of you.

Can't believe your bossman is already 4.  Time flies faster than an SR71 .

Yes, Mrs. Toshi and I have been doing well.  Master Ezra on the other hand keeps us really busy.  Being four years old, I keep telling Mrs. Toshi in that our time is limited with him, like life, nothing lasts forever.

When Master Ezra turns five next summer, he's off to school.  That'll be dictated with friends, teachers, and sleepovers.  As for Mrs. Toshi & I we will probably see him less and less since Columbus is three hours away.  Or a six hour round trip.  Wow, not something I can always do.

For now, we cherish what we have and treat him like a King!  I felt our next project should be the old Monogram SR-71.  Synchrinosity my friend!

We were going to do a light second coat via AB, but Master Ezra insisted on utilizing a brush.  I was shocked, all this equipment sitting dormant and you want to brush paint?  Well, I can't argue with that so Ezra went ahead by HIMSELF, and hand painted over the acrylic Vallejo chrome with MM enamel  silver chrome and this is his idea.  Honestly, I wish I could have brushed enamel on that good when I was four!
