Tamiya 1/48 Fw 190F-8 WIP

Thank you LD.  I've got a soft spot for the 190 so it's a labor of love I reckon.

Internal bits are done so it's on to sealing up the fuselage.  The decal belts were an experiment.  I'll remove them and replace with Eduard belts.

Cool another 190. What did you use for making the rivits?

I used my Rosie Riveter tool I bought a couple years ago.  Works great. 

Pit looks great.  Are you planning to extend the landing gear a bit? I heard that it a tad squat on this kit.  It's one of the main gripes of the Tamiya 190's.  

Thank you my friend. No extensions for this one. If this were a commission build, absolutely.  This is another one of those "practicing new techniques" kind of builds. 

Nice riveting. Looks good. I don't know if I'd have the patience (or courage).

That 190 is coming along very nicely. I have the RB Riveter and did a great job on a 1/32 Hasegawa Dora. I actually found it relaxing and enjoyed riveting the entire Dora.
