The techniques you employ to these builds make them just pop.

And with that, we have another first class build!

Thanks for taking the time to post, I look forward to the next.

Thanks Damian, and your welcome.

Lawdog is there a good tutorial you could recommend so I can learn to paint and weather like that please?

On my next build illl try to do a picture by picture tutorial. It's a Dauntless so it will be the same as this one.

Awesome work Joe. Love the aircraft and the flight deck!

Steve

Thanks Steve, I'm fairly happy with how the base turned out. I have another one I need to paint too.

Hello,

the more I browse your builds, the more I am astonished by the rendering of your cockpits.

Would it be possible to go in details through your cockpits painting techniques ? They look very well detailed, very contrasted but in the same time with a kind of oily/satin finished.

... and congratulations for all your beautiful builds ! They are very nice.

Thank you !

Thanks.  Here's a link to a tutorial I did on how I do my cockpits.  I hope it helps.

Impressive build lawdog! I'm planning also of having an Operation Torch Wildcat and I would like to ask if the yellow surround is not carried to the wing national insignia. Thanks.

Thanks. From the reference pics I found it was only on the fuselage stars.

Outstanding F4F, Joe. YesYesYes

This one went so fast I missed it in progress. I didn't know Tamiya had this kit. Having an interest in Wildcats lately and favoring this landing gear config, might have to order one.

That is some mighty fine painting, to say the least.

Joe, if you are anything you are certainly tenacious and prolific a modeler!! Very nice. I'll have to peak back at what I've missed.

Hope you're well. Happy 4th. =]
