Maybe it thought it was making an attempted water landing.

Good save.

Building a kit from your stash is like cutting a head off a Hydra, two more take it's place.

I took a couple pieces of 3/64 brass wire and drilled a 1/32 hole in each one to hold the 4 lb test fishing line.Drilled 1/32 holes in the vertical stabs and fished it through secured with binder clips  to properly tension the line  added a drop of CA to fix the line in place.Should I paint the line black or silver?

I accidentally knocked over the Mavis last night and it looked bad!The wing was detached from The hull ,2 cowlings were knocked off ,had some broken off prop blades as well as one of the wing floats!Luckily the seams did not open up and although one of the hull blisters popped off the clear parts were in tact.I was able to get it back together ,just have to re rig the radio wires.Could have been a lot worse!
