Cheecky Bugger! I had real concerns like others that something very, very bad may have happened. I'm truly glad that you're are OK, and havent lost your sense of humor!

As it happens, I got bitten by a Red Back Spider on the weekend, the cousin being the Black Widow. Wont eat you, but hurts a treat.

Nice "Anteater" Lawdog!  Looking at the great chipping in the wheel wells, it reminded me of a comment that Eric "Winkle" Brown made when test flying the Do-335.  He noted that the nosewheel made a firm thump under his seat when it retracted.

The Do-335 was probably not terribly maneuverable due to its massive size. At around 45 feet both ways, it approached the dimensions of a medium bomber.  The rudder and elevator were supposedly heavy while the power assisted ailerons were light.  As ohers mentioned, the plane was still going through its teething phase, so a lot of bugs remained to be addressed.

 

Thanks G.  Regarding the gear bays, that's the liquid frisket technique and I'm pleased with the effect.  Realistic or not, it draws the eye into that area.  I forgot to do that in the nose gear...doh!

Thanks for the technical info.  It has just over a 17 inch wingspan in this scale, so it was a challenge to ship.  I recall reading the B-25 was Actuallt quite maneuverable with the right pilot.

I was just wondering about you.  Beautiful job on the Arrow.  I did the two seater version way back when I was a kid.  Pretty unique aircraft.

Actually yes, you were missed.  I hadn't seen any builds from you for awhile.  I was afraid we had lost another modeller! (Of course, you had posted in the last month, so no worries about your health  )

Now about the DO-335, it's an example of your usual superlative work.  I think any defects may be down to the kit, and not your skill.  I can say that 1/32nd aircraft are either well-done in manufacturing, or not so good.

The DO-335 is one of those aircraft that benefited from never going into production and revealing its flaws!
