Hi all, I have been very quiet lately with this GB. Ordered my AM decal for the 1/72 Hobbyboss Mil 35 in Angolan AF markings, so hopefully it will be done soon.

Here is the completed Stuka. I have replaced the fishing line antenna with EZ line and this stuff is great. Also corrected the prop blades which were sticking out to far.

Hope you like it.

All comments welcome. Wild Child, thanks for the excuse to build this and finally get a completed Stuka on the shelf.

That's a nice vignette, Bish.  Well done!    The new wire looks better too.

One of the best small scale Stukas I've seen Bish. Excellent work on the aircraft and very well displayed.

Cheers

Tony

I'm just taking it one GB at a time.

its not going to be easy to bury the outer wings in the main wing.

i have moved the wing forward a bit too

1 strip of card on the leading edge gives space for the outerwing to fit nicely and iv made stops inside the wing glove for the outer wing too

mock ups nearly done and it works a treat!
the stops work perfectly and the leading and trailing edge spacers hold the wing with just the right amount of resistance.
also the rear quarter flap (bit of upper wing that goes unsupported over the top of the swing wing) conforms niceley ie it doesnt stick up it sits on the wing nicely :)

top wing on

il either blend the rear quarter part together or i might even fill it in.
1st il make the assembly fit agianst the fuse properly

all of my tr2s are whifs and there was a plan to look at a swing wing version down the line.

theres an ongoing atlantian theme on another forum which allows imagination free reign iv already done a normal tsr 2 (in splinter camo) for this theme and a single engined heavily modified lightning (again in splinter camo).

atm im building a supersonic vulcan a valkyrie and this tsr2 for them lol (the valkyrie is white but everything else is in splinter camo)

ps your stuka is jaw dropping!

Thanks.

So tragic news guys, my a-10 took a tumble off my desk and had to be written off :( . But all hope is not lost, I still have my a-1 coming together nicely, and I've ordered a replacement hobbyboss a-10. Once it's here I'll be back at it.

Ain't it going to be a real beast to mask those painted sections?
