Those are looking good 68! My pitot tube came in the mail from Revell last week. But I am concentrating on another build right now at least for another two weeks. Then I will get my F-104 completed. I am so close but have a couple real life speed bumps coming up in early March that need to be handled 1st.

Great builds, 68! Well done, especially like the little Tweet!  Just out of curiosity, why does the Navy have an F-4G, was it an experimental thing, like the brief green camo???

The US Navy F-4G predates the USAF by well over a decade. Essentially it was new avionics incorporated into the F-4B, primarily for a hands off carrier landing system, IIRC. Only a small number were built. And I think that they were not very long serving, but the systems were incorporated into the F-4J.

They were both gray and in green to see if the camo helped but it didn't and all the Navy Gs were designated back to being F-4Bs.  They did have upgrades that were being tested for carrier landing and maybe a few other thing but I don't remember at the moment.

Here is my A-37B that I just completed.  Its the Academy kit in 1/72 scale.

Thanks guys,

There were a number of aircraft (A-6, A-4, RA-5) tested with green camo paint but all eventually went back to their original grey/white scheme.

That's a great looking A-37, 68GT!  It's a cool looking plane, I don't recall seeing one before.  Adding it to my wish list.  Hopefully when I build mine it turns out as nice as yours!

It has a few small parts to give you trouble if you have sausage fingers but otherwise it is a nice fitting kit with engraved lines and it can be found cheap.  I think I got it for $10 or less with shipping on ebay.

Great article you posted the link to Stik.
